Bullying powers, allies support ISIL militant group: Commander

IRGC is fully ready to thwart any plots and foreign meddling in the countryˈs internal affairs, the commander said.

The Islamic Revolutionˈs Guard Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander Brigadier-General Hossein Salami said here on Thursday that the activities of terrorists affiliated to Daesh (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) group in Iraq stem from the meddling of bullying powers and their allies in the region.

Addressing a local gathering, Salami stressed that such interventions would fail as they did in Syria thanks to the Iraqi government and nationˈs vigilance.

At present, the Islamic Republic of Iran is more powerful than ever before, he said, adding the nationˈs enemies are at their weakest position.

IRGC is fully ready to thwart any plots and foreign meddling in the countryˈs internal affairs, the commander said.
